I've only seen the trailer and the pictures from the movie, but from what I have seen, I feel they could have chosen some one a lot better to play her. She didn't quite fit the part as Bloodrayne. At least, not to the extent that I would have liked. :-/

i've seen the movie also, and whoa she's okay, she can't help that the movie was directed by a poorly misguided man who goes by the name of uwe boll, if it was done by some big budget director, then it could have been quite differrent, so dont put all the blame on kristanna...

shure you can still say: "i wanted to see someone different playing rayne in the movie", personally?... i'd give Laura Baily herself a try at it...  ;)  why well the voice for one thing is unique and irreplesable and then some... but i'ts nice anyway, that rayne's has gotten to the big screen, even if it's not turned out the way everyone would liked it to be right?...

and i'd still want to see her in some CGI-generated-series, now that would be perfect, but probably higly unlikly if that sort of thing ever gets realised... but it would be nice if it does... maybe give pixar a call?... and perswade them to make something more 'mature-adult' instead of all the usual 'kiddy' like stuff...like a series of bloodrayne?!...right i'll just keep on dreaming... ;D

Unfortunately, if she took this role, she'd probably be stuck in only video game movies from then on. After taking roles of the same kinds and being famous in them, it would be too hard to get that image off of her and she would have a hard time starring in any other role.

True, the movie would have probably been much better. But I think the real problem was the director. (I've finally seen the movie, so I can say this accurately).

I think Kristina is a good, decent actress but when you have a poor script, with a poor director, the only fault she has is not having looked into the reviews of the movies he made prior and his credentials.

I know I'm the minority in this opinion, lol which seems to happen frequently around here, but I don't think Milla would have been a good choice for Rayne. I think Loken actually did a better job than Milla would have done. Milla has more action experience, sure, but she looks less like Rayne than Loken does. I think Loken physically fits Rayne to an extent. Milla's body structure and facial shape is all wrong... she has the high cheekbones and somewhat squared face and such... Just throwing in 2 cents.
