Cut and paste in your browser, and let the video completely load.
... then pause it at fifteen seconds... and take a really... good... look... at who it is.
... yep. It’s him alright.

Of course, nowadays, in the comics, Eddie Brock’s in the hospital, and Mac Gargan (Scorpion), is now Venom.

In fact, I just bought the three-part “Venom: On Trial” series today for less than seven USD. Haven’t sat down to read it yet though, but maybe later tonight.

Pics include:
-Venom webbing up Spidey from behind. Notice the large white spider on his chest… and the teeth!
-Sandman morphing his hand.
-Spidey crouching low in webbing (presumably Venom’s).
-Alien symbiote plummeting to Earth.
By the way, I got curious, so I looked it up. There is, technically, an “evil Spider-Man.” Doppelganger, his “evil twin” from an alternate universe. Although technically, Doppelganger isn’t evil, since he isn’t intelligent enough to consider that his (its) actions are wrong or dangerous to others.

Sorry i know this is slightly (ok really) off topic but i noticed the ghost rider dp and i was just curious if you have played the game ?
I rented it out a couple of days ago and i thought it was good but a bit repetitive and reminded me of God of war and dmc.

That’s what I think is going to make this fight with Venom all the better to watch. Since the V-man doesn’t set off Spidey’s “spider-sense,” it should be interesting to see how he deals with this new menace.

No prob. I didn’t know there was an actual Ghost Rider game until recently, when I came across it while browing inside of the local Blockbuster store. I thought about buying it, or at the very least renting it, but if it’s very repetitive, then I probably wouldn’t enjoy it as much. And if it’s like Devil May Cry, then I wouldn’t even want to touch the box that the game came in.
Actually the new avatar’s kind of a teaser for the Ultimate Mixmeister series that I write. Originally I was going to kill a longtime character off in Chapter 6-The Apocalypse… but I recently figured out a new way for him to survive the entire conflict and become an even greater hero than he ever was before. Maybe I’ll start a new thread in the fan fiction section about it for discussion.

The suit doesn’t really tell its hosts to kill: it simply enhances their real aspirations. Namely that’s why Cletus Kasady (Carnage) is such a big-time serial killer; he was a psychotpath to being with. Venom at least had some morals that he tried to live by.
My own opinion, however, now that I think about it: symbiote’s must take some sort of empathic knowledge from their hosts when bonded, as the Carnage symbiote has been extremely violent in both its actions and its thoughts. For instance, it did try to influence Ben Reily to kill his close friends and allies during the “Web of Carnage” story arc. And the Silver Surfer had to deal with such violent urges as well. Since the Carnage symbiote was so young at the time, as compared to the Venom symbiote when it first merged with Parker and later Brock, I think it might have actually learned from Cletus that the way he thought was the “natural” way to think.
In Blood I Lust, I’d be interested in hearing your opinion on Toxin. Care to share?

Tomorrow night, I’m actually going to the theater wearing a homemade Venom outfit, and I’m bringing a sign that reads “We Came For Some SPIDER-BRAINS” to wave around in the theater during the fight scenes between Parker and Brock.
This should be fun. Rumor is is that Cletus Kasady actually makes an appearance, but we’ll see.

I just got turned away from the theater! They sold out here in Hicksville, man! I was fully decked out in costume and had the “We Came For Some Spider-Brains!” sign and everything, and I got turned away!
… well, I guess it’s time to implement drastic measures. It’s time for Ultimate Mixmeister: Operation Amigo Campout!
