Perhaps you have heard this news already, but there is an internet petition against the infamous blight on both the film and video game industries, Uwe Boll. He has agreed to honour it and stop making films if it gains 1,000,000 signatures. Currently it has 200,000, so help it along!

Somehow I get the feeling Boll is going to try and BS his way out of it and stay in business even when that petition reaches a couple million...

My last signature was too drawn out, rambled on for far too long, and appeared to be far too wordy and cumbersome to be of any practical use. Therefore, I wish to dedicate the current one to all the users of the Internet who feel they do not have the time to type properly and use proper grammar and spelling to the best of their abilities. The sheer amount of absurdity is... oh hell, never mind.

Why does everyone hate Uwe Boll? Yeah, he is not the worlds greatest director and he is a bit full of himself, but his movies sell, and I don't see anyone else trying to make a Bloodrayne movie. I think people are taking his movies to seriously. I find turning them into drinking games to be very entertaining. Remember, his movies are like Sci-fi channel original movies and have a high cheese factor! Just try and have fun with it. If you don't like him that much, stop talking about him and watching his movies. He might even be getting off on what you guys are saying.

Some people may like him- I don't think that's any of us though. He ruined Bloodrayne's reputation in the movie world... people dont' want to see 'cheese B' movies on the big screen I guess. I know I don't. If I want those, I can flip the channels on TV on a weekend and get them for free...

- I could be wrong, but the fact that he's a pompous ass who has no earthly conception of what kind of insipid banalities he's subjecting us to might have something to do with it. However, even that would be forgivable if he would do so with the characters and story-lines of OTHER people's favorite games instead of ours...

Oh man that's my life's dream and goal right there. I actually have three planned . . . was going to be two but trilogies work better when you're dealing with epics.

I'm working on the script (I actually made the decision to study filmmaking as a minor at college so I could do this) but I have a feeling that Boll has such a tight grip on the copyright that it's going to be tricky after that.

Mintywolf I am glad you are working on your own Rayne movies...I'm sure they'd be awesome. I've toyed around w/ a cpl of ideas for scripts but I work and go to school full-time haven't had a chance to write much...nor finish any of my fanfics or I'd post 'em and let you see my style of writing... Andrew are you smoking something? BR2 sucked I mean seriously...when I saw it on the scifi channel a cpl months ago I like cried...seriously the acting was terrible - I've seen better acting from third graders...I like the chick Natassia Malthel who played Rayne she was a little more how I pictured Rayne to be...sexy w/ a bit of an edge but the acting still sucked. Of course that might have been because the dialogue sucked...of course the plot sucked as well. The premise of the movie seemed interesting enough and I bet their are a lot of people who could have made a better movie about Rayne facing against Billy the Kid then was made...

However the worst part/ sin of this movie was they did nothing to add depth to her character...A smart director/ producer would have wanted to build off the first not take it so far the opposite direction it almost makes a complete circle! What does everyone think?
