Thank you very much for that comment. A few others have said the same thing.
Here are some of the same photos along with many others on Flickr - http://www.flickr.com/photos/slimdefinitio...57619021468931/

I need to repair the thong I used to go over the top of the leggings though. Half the eyelets fell out of the back because of the material.
I also need better wrist bands so I can wear the blades more easily. I barely bothered with them as they took so long to faff around with.
They kept slipping around too. So, only a few minor adjustments to make before I cosplay her again (I will endeavour to psyche myself
up to masquerade as Rayne at the next one as I was told I should have due to the quality of the costume and blades).
Someone said the blades looked bought, which pleased my dad. happy.gif'

The world record thing is that London MCM Expo broke the world record last October for the most videogame characters cosplayed. They attempted it again this May and broke it yet again by 23 people, and I was a part of it as No. 202 (don't ask me what the final number was, over 400 I believe).

These are the fangs I used - http://images.buycostumes.com/mgen/merchandiser/31914.jpg
I used the mould as directed, but as they didn't stay in as they should I added fixodent and they stayed in (though the mould came loose and one fell out, but I managed to find it thankfully! - Those ones aren't cheap).

I can't find a close up where they're showing more. Sorry :-(

Oh oh! May have found a couple! The second one is better as you can see more of them, but it's as close as the photos get.
Added them to Flickr.

What did you think of the other photos on Flickr by the way?
I said to others I may go as Rayne again on the Sunday at the October London MCM Expo this year (if the weather is mild enough).

Ah yes, i can see them better now. They look very cool smile.gif

Your Rayne costume is the best one that i have seen. I admire the dedication & work that you have put in this project.

I saw the pics, and i think that you should go to the October Expo too. I bet that everybody likes to see your cosplay.

I do what i can to keep the game alive with my patches & textures, and you are doing it too with your costume.

Hey, thanks for that. happy.gif
Means a lot.

I heard someone at the convention say that he receives IGN newsletters (or some official newsletter) talking about a third game.
I can't find any info right now, but maybe it's being kept between officials and those who subscribe perhaps? No idea, but this guy
was a BR fan and took a couple of photos of me - he even had a Brimstone tattoo on his arm. I thought that if/when those rumours
ring true, I can talk to the expo staff (I have contacts now, mua ha ha ha) and see if I can promote it down there.

I'll repair the bits of the costume I need to (like the thong over the top - half the eyelets came loose and I needed to remove them),
and may take it with me anyhow. I'd like to masquerade as her, but I'm still a bit edgy with having never been on stage before.
I heard from someone that people have been slated before and then never gone back to the event. Just worries me a bit.

Even if I don't do Rayne again in October, I will ensure I cosplay her regularly (attempt at least once a year perhaps).

I'm surprised there weren't more fang shots. I bared them a lot from what I remember. Next time I go as Rayne I want to get photos of different shots.....like leaping on someone and wrapping my legs around them and pretending to bite. That'd make a good photo. Unfortunately shimmying up poles in those heels isn't quite on the cards. I could walk for a while and then had to sit down for long rests when my feet REALLY hurt on a regular basis. With the blades, the arm straps I had were a pain, and I rarely bothered with them. I'll try and do something with them or replace them. Wearing the blades upright was annoying too as I had to velcro strap them to my upper arms so they didn't waver around all over the place, meaning bending my arms wasn't possible. It's a work in progress still I think.

Perhaps I'll try making the Carpathian Dragons as well at some point. *Grins*

Prolly the newsletters are talking about the 3rd movie. I have not heard anything about a 3rd game yet, but, like i said before, i only trust in TRI to develop the game. I would lose the interest in the game if another company takes the development project.

You can work in those little details that you said (arm straps, heels, ... and the carpathian dragons).

We are reworking the guns now. Hope this helps. wink.gif

This guy I met specifically said "game" because I asked whether he meant the third film. He said, "no game, PS3 and Xbox 360". He might have been lying, but I can't find a reason why he'd want to say that to another fan and cosplayer just for fun. I wouldn't care even if it was on the PSP or something, because I know Majesco turned more toward the handheld market. I've heard game rumours that have come true in this way before, because I know companies like IGN will keep things between themselves and the people who subscribe to their newsletters.

I'd heard from someone else who's a die hard BR fan that a company called Black Stone/Blackstone were taking the franchise or something along those lines. No idea if that's true or not either. I'd still hope Terminal Reality would be in on it though. I'd heard the reason why they didn't continue with a third game before was because of funding. Still, I continue to hold out hope - and not just so I can make a nuisance of myself at the London MCM Expo. happy.gif'

If it's true, it'll probably be some time before we get to read anything official about it though. IGN's information is normally trustworthy enough.

Nice work on the picture by the way.
